Peek of the Week

Hello, this is the Paxon Hollow Peek of the Week for June 10, 2018

  • Several students are in need of having their food service account replenished. If you wish to use a credit card as payment, visit Cash or check payments are also accepted. Please replenish your account as soon as possible before the end of the week.
  • Parents who received a Cool to be Kind invitation for Monday, June 11th, the program begins at 2:15 p.m. Parents are asked to park in the back of the building and enter through the cafeteria doors.
  • Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday will be half days with an 11:30 a.m. dismissal. 
  • Friday will be the 8th grade promotion ceremony. The ceremony will be held in the MNHS gymnasium at 9:00 a.m. Students need to arrive to Paxon at their regular time. Parents will be able to enter the program beginning at 8:15 a.m.
  • The faculty and staff would like to thank all the PTO for a wonderful end of the year luncheon as well as all of your support throughout the school year.


Athletic Announcements Include:

  • There will be a mandatory field hockey meeting for incoming freshman on Monday, June 11th at 7:00 p.m. at MNHS in room A117.
  • There is also a girls soccer meeting on Monday, June 11th at 7:00 p.m. in the MNHS health room.
  • A field hockey camp will be held for grades K-9 at MNHS from July 16th-19th. Please see attached flyer in this email version and on our school website on the Athletic page.


PTO Announcements Include

  • The Budget and Finance Committee Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, June 12th at 6:30 p.m. has been rescheduled to Monday, June 11th at 6:30 p.m. The Facilities and Transportation Committee Meeting will begin immediately following the Budget and Finance Committee Meeting.  The meeting location has also been changed to the MNHS Auditorium.


  • This is the final Peek of the Week for this school year.  Thank you for listening and read the email version each week.  I hope you and your families have a wonderful summer.  For those of you moving onto Marple Newtown high school, I wish you the best of luck and for those students returning to Paxon, the Peek of the Week will begin again before the start of school.
