MNEA Teacher of the Year - Brian Isselmann

Brian Isselmann teaches 9th grade Honors and College Prep Social Studies courses and an elective he created called Leadership and Character, which has become a very popular option for students of all grades at Marple Newtown High School. Isselmann has always been a leader in the Social Studies department by helping to continuously develop the 9th grade curriculum for all academic levels.

Marple Newtown Marching Tigers are Cavalcade Grand Champions

The MNHS Marching Tigers finished their fall marching season with panache. Going into regional Championships, they were ranked #1 of 136 regional bands, a confident and strong position. On Sunday, November 15, at Downingtown’s Kottmeyer Stadium, the band and color guard performed for the last time their 2015 field show, Daredevil, as contenders in the Yankee Open Division at the Cavalcade of Bands Championship Show (“Champs”). The ensemble executed a magical, high spirited performance of the field show that they have performed and fine-tuned since August.

Worrall Elementary Community Service Project

During the month of October, Worrall Elementary School held a luggage and suitcase collection for children in foster care. 

Russell Elementary supports St. Mark's Food Pantry
