What is the Amani Partnership? Marple Newtown’s partnership with Amani began with Mrs. Can’s Studio Art courses. These students are creating portraits of some of the children from the Amani Children’s Home. By doing so, our students will be providing a gift and a memory to street children and orphans who do not have childhood pictures of themselves or their families. This is the first year of an on-going partnership between the children of Amani and the students of Marple Newtown High School.
Now other groups and organizations have gotten involved and also want to help these children. Find out more on the Amani Page!

Attention Seniors & Senior Parents -- Commencement Information:
It is the time of the year that senior students and their families begin to look ahead to graduation. Commencement is the highlight of a successful educational experience, and we are committed to making this year’s program the best ever. To that end, we have reviewed and reflected on our past ceremonies and made changes in order to improve the experience for our students and their families.
We will once again be holding graduation at the Pavilion at Villanova University. The past few years at Villanova have been a great experience for students, families, and staff. We anticipate that the 2008 ceremony will be no different.
Attached for download, you will find information relative to graduation, including graduation protocols, dress code, and the commencement participation agreement. Please review all of this information carefully, and return the signed commencement participation agreement by April 23, 2008.
I look forward to seeing you on June 12, 2008!
Cordially, Ray McFall
