one (1) page outline must be completed before the Oral Presentation
Ø
The
outline must follow the format below
The
following is a guide that must be used to develop your outline.
The outline should be viewed as a developmental tool for your Oral
Presentation. The outline and the
Oral Presentation are not intended to be a minute-by-minute description of your
Senior Project. The outline should
be a document that analyzes what you have learned from your Project.
Choose the parts of the Project that were most beneficial to you or had
the greatest impact. The outline
below is developed to your advantage because it follows the format of the Oral
Presentation grading rubric.
The
outline must be typed or written on single
side paper (no note cards) in legible form, and conform to the outline
format that is below. The outline
must be separate from note cards used
for your Oral Presentation. The
outline will be collected before the
Oral Presentation, therefore, make a copy
of the outline if the outline is to be used during the Oral Presentation.
Refer to the journal in the construction of the outline.
The
outline must be completed and submitted to the Evaluation Committee on the day
of the Oral Presentation. If
the student does not have the outline at this time, five points will be deducted
from the final grade and he/she will not be eligible to graduate until the
outline is returned to the committee.
