MISSION STATEMENT

To prepare each student for a productive, responsible life
in a diverse global community by creating an educational environment
that fosters personal excellence.

INTRODUCTION

Equal Rights & Opportunities PolicyHigh school is the final part of the required public education, therefore its purpose is twofold: to prepare students for post-graduation pursuits and to help students develop and refine critical thinking processes and skills. Both are integral to a successful future as a responsible and contributing member of society.

Towards that end, members of the entire Marple Newtown High School community have been involved in the creation of this guide. The courses described herein take into consideration a variety of educational and career options as well as meeting graduation requirements. We encourage you to peruse these pages carefully and make choices that reflect the needs, abilities, and interests of each student. Staff members are willing, ready and able to assist students and parents in the selection process.

Education in twenty-first century America requires that we equip students with ample knowledge of the changing world and the skills to navigate a clear course into the future. Marple Newtown High School is committed to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to chart a path for personal success and achievement.
