Mike Clancy w/teachers of the year

During his time at Marple Newtown High School, Mike has taught all levels of classes from core to AP and has been involved in extracurricular activities such as Math Club, Cross Country, and initiated the high school's participation in the American Math Competition since 2012.  Mike has been a leader within the school as a department leader since 2010, where he has been a role model for other department leaders.  As a leader, he is distinguished by his strong advocacy for students of all levels, whether they be Marple Newtown students or students transferring into the district from other schools.  He works closely with members of his department and counseling to program appropriate classes for the needs of the individual student.  He is intelligent, thoughtful and caring, and is a valuable asset to our school and community.
