INTRODUCTION
Dear Parents and Students:
This guide provides an overview of the Paxon Hollow Middle School 6-8 curriculum. The curriculum is a plan for action and for the delivery of instruction and learning. It is a blueprint for learning which incorporates the state's educational standards into a meaningful format and is extended to meet Marple Newtown School District's high expectations for each student.
In this guide you will find sections on language arts, mathematics, social studies, science and foreign language. You will also find information on our cycle courses and wellness/physical education. The compilation of the Paxon Hollow Middle School Curriculum Guide has involved the united efforts of many people. A sincere expression of appreciation is extended to our guidance counselors, Mrs. Cipollone, Mrs. Wigo and Mr. Riley and to the entire faculty for their input.
Sincerely,
Stephen Subers, Ed.D.
