Learning Planet  This site has games grouped by grade level. It includes alphabet and math games, memory (concentration) games, online word searches, and games that require quick reflexes and hand-eye coordination.

Brain teasers  This site has games that review lower case letter and pattern recognition, letter sounds, and object identification.

Counting practice  Click on a number and count the objects in the box on the right.

Earobics Play GameGoo (at school, click on "higher speed connection"). Games provide practice in language arts skills, including recognizing upper and lower case letters, alphabetical order, spelling three letter words, distinguishing fiction from nonfiction, and identifying opposites.

Between the Lions Based on the PBS show. Click on the picture of the lion for this week's games. One game, "Gawain's Word" features two knights jousting. One knight carries a flag with a consonant such as "h", the other with a blend such as "ug." When they meet there is a lovely crashing sound and then you hear the word they form, "hug"! This can then be repeated with other consonants.
