Release of 2007 Professional Education Plan Guidelines -- The 2007 Professional Education Plan Guidelines are now available on the PDE website (http://www.pde.state.pa.us) The guidelines reflect conversations with teachers' unions, professional associations and intermediate units. Revisions have been made to align Chapter 4, induction and professional education planning systems under e-Strategic Planner with goals that led and guided the revision process. The MN Professional Development Committee is in the process of reviewing these new guidelines for Act 48. In the spring, members of the PDC will share with each faculty the major changes to reporting Act 48 credit.

Act 48 Professional Development Plan was approved September 21, 2005 by the Pennsylvania Department of Education granting local ACT 48 provider status for a-year period. Act 48 Professional Development Plan (pdf format)
