Congratulations to the Varsity Cheerleading Team at Marple Newtown High School for earning 4th place in Cheer and 3rd Place in Extreme Routine at Pine Forest Cheerleading Camp on August 19th.  The team was also recognized as a Superior Team at Pine Forest, received two blue superior ribbons and the most coveted Spirit Stick.  Pictured: Julia Allen, Jackie Brough, Liz Cahill, Mary Cancila, Sydney Coakley, Steph Craft, Megan Dyal, Becky Facenda, Rachel Ferguson, Katie Folliard, Shannon Folliard, Kristen Harmon, Kayla Horton, Rachel Hughes, Amber Leonardo, Sam Newman, Caroline Paolino, Monique Pluff, Francesca Ragucci, Sydney Scarani, Tori Stanton, Michelle Terlizzi, Amanda Terlizzi and Jamie Whitesell.

On April 27, 2008 the cheerleaders volunteered their time to the Junior Olympics at Veterans Memorial Park.  The girls enjoyed helping the children from one field event to another.
