Bully Awareness Pep-Rally!  Russell Elementary School kicked-off it's first month of Character Traits and Bully Awareness. Counselor Kim Polonsky and Principal Dianne Smith along with the teachers, staff and students put on a Bully Free Assembly and pep-rally that included MNHS football team members, cheerleaders and student council members.  The Bully free Rules are read before each monthly assembly.

The celebrated character trait for September was "RESPECT".  Students from every grade were selected awarded a certificate for displaying this trait towards others.

Russell Spirit Wear Now Available!  -  Show your Russell spirit and stock up on toasty sweats and tees for the fall!  Check out the samples in the main office, and download an order form here!  Orders are due September 29, so don't delay!

Here Show Presenter of Franklin Institute shows the gas effect when liquid Nitrogen is poured into a container at room temperature. Olivia Knapp, 2nd Grader at Russell Elementary, Ms. Leidy’s Class looks amazed while The Franklin Institute Traveling Science Show presenter shows an experiment to the school.
