Art Awards Presented to Loomis 4th Grade Winners

Fourth grade Loomis students who participated in the art contest received congratulatory certificates from Representative Adolph and winners in each class were presented with their award certificates during Friday's Global Safari assembly.

Students' artwork represented their favorite place in Pennsylvania and four winners were chosen from each participating class.

Gala of the Arts May 16th 4:00 pm

The MNSD Arts Gala features the visual, performing and technological arts departments throughout the Marple Newtown School District.  Enjoy the creations of students from first through twelfth grades in an evening that will leave a lasting impression!  All proceeds benefit the Tiger Foundation.

Brittany Fertman 76ers Hometown Hero

On April 8th, the Philadelphia 76ers hosted an Autism Awareness game against the Washington Wizards. Culbertson Autistic Support Teacher, Brittany Fertman, a top team captain for the Philadelphia's Walk Now for Autism Speaks chapter was honored along with her family as a Hometown Hero.

MNSD is a Best Community for Music Education

The Marple Newtown School District was recognized for the 3rd consecutive year by The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation as among the Best Communities for Music Education. The program singles out districts for outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students and community leaders who have made music education part of the core curriculum. MNHS wins Honorable Mention in Moody Mega Math Challenge

Marple Newtown High School students model the price of higher education, determine if college is worth it. Honorable Mention Team Prize of $1000 puts them in top 5.7% in the nation.

PHMS Team Wins Best-in-State for the 2nd time
Congratulations! Drive Using Intelligence - DUI, from Paxon Hollow Middle School, has been selected as the Verizon Innovation App ChallengePennsylvania Best in State winner at the middle school level.
