MNSD 2015 Delaware County Young Author's Project Winners
STATEMENT OF MARPLE NEWTOWN SCHOOL DISTRICT RELATING TO BUS NO. 82

The safety of all children entrusted to the District's care is its paramount concern.  At the same time, the District must recognize that criminal charges, especially those involving non-work-related conduct, are only allegations and that people who are criminally charged must be presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.  In addition, the District must respect the privacy concerns of its employees.

In light of all of these concerns, the District can assure the community that it has taken prompt and appropriate steps to ensure that this particular employee is not performing any functions for the District during the pendency of the criminal charges.

Worrall's Elite Readers take home the Blue Ribbon

Worrall School Elite Readers earned a blue ribbon at the Delaware County Reading Olympics Competition.  Our eleven member team had to read a total of forty-five titles.  The boys and girls read all year and then met with their teacher mentors to discuss the books.   During a three round event the team had to answer questions about these books.  The boys and girls showed good sportsman like behavior and operated as a cohesive team.  They knew the material and represented some of Worrall’s finest readers!   We are so proud of our Elite Readers!
