Members of Worrall’s Student Leadership Council packed over eight boxes of non-perishable foods to support the “Stamp Out Hunger” food drive. The items that were collected will be donated to food banks/needy families in this area. A very special “thank you” to everyone who helped to make this food drive so successful.

May 30- Field Day:9:00 -11:30 am; Family Picnic: 5:30pm

June 3- Rain date for Field day
June 5- Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast, 8:15am, Library, followed by final PTO meeting. Worrall Night at Barnes and Noble
June 6- Talent Show; 7:00pm (K-5), Gym
June 12- AM Kindergarten reports. (No PM Kindergarten);    Grade 5 Promotion Ceremony; 9:00-11:30am; Please note the following change: there will be a Noon dismissal for all students (K-4) on this day. Fifth grade students are free to leave with their parents after the promotion ceremony.  No lunches served.
June 13- Last day for students; PM Kindergarten reports at 8:45 am. (No AM Kindergarten);  Report cards issued; Noon dismissal for all students; No lunches served.

From Food Services:  It is hard to believe the end of the 2007-2008 school year is near.  While we are   preparing to clean and lock up our food service department for the summer, this is just a gentle reminder to make sure that if you owe money on your child’s lunch accounts, they are paid prior to the end of the school year.
